Christmas meeting in Zawiercie - second group

Our winter meeting was on 17th December. We gathered in the school library, as always. 

Pupils were talking about Christmas traditions and singing English and german version of a carol called “Silent night”.

There was also a competition for the best Christmas decoration, that was made at home earlier.

What’s more we played some Christmas games and had a great time drinking tea and eating delicious cakes and gingerbreads.

Christmas cafe - first group

On 4th December 2013 our students met at the 3 literary café. We met within our eTwinning project.

The meeting was about Christmas traditions in different countries. 

We invited Mrs Kułach (teacher of Russian language), Mrs Per (teacher of German language) and Mrs Haładyń (teacher of English language). The teachers told us about Christmas customs in England, Germany and Russia. 

Anna Pilarska and Wiktoria Rok prepared some interesting things connected with Christmas in non European countries. Joanna Bogusławska and Julia Pacan made a great Chistmas quiz which won Artur Klimek.

We also listened to some Christmas carols and read some beautiful Christmas poems.

Reading Poems

This week our students have chosen their favourite poems from Greek poetry and they have recorded them in mp3 format. The whole procedure took place in the classroom and everybody enjoyed it. We will upload some samples soon.

Literary cafe - November

We read autumn poems. 

After reading and we drank some tea we made a poster with autumn poems.
