Second eTwinning literary café - first group

On 20th November the second eTwinning literary café about "autumn" took place. There were two quizes in the programme: the first one about "tea from all over the world" and the second one about "books and libraries".

Julia Pacan and Wiktoria Rok were the host. Both quizes won one of the quests: Artur Klimek

Mrs Katarzyna Musiał and Kamila Wędzyńska also provided some attractions: we played the quitar and sang songs in Polish and English. Some students were reciting poems written by different writers.

We also listened to a famous song which words were written by Julian Tuwim and we looked at the photos of cups and books by Kamila Wędzyńska.
The decorations were made by Joanna Bogusławska and treated by Anna Pilarska.

First eTwinning meeting - second group from Zawiercie in Poland

On 28th October our group that consist of 8 members: Julia, Klaudia, Julia, Kaja, Bartek, Wiktor, Andrzej and Lena organised first eTwinning meeting in the school library.

What's more they invited their friends for this meeting. Some of them brought cups and told stories about them.

We spent time in a fabulous atmosphere watching presentation about great polish writer Wisława Szymborska's life and reading her poems.

We were also drinking delicious tea in special cups. Our next meeting will be in October. I can't wait!

First literary café in Zawiercie

On 2nd October 2013 there was our first literary café. Its topic was: poems of a Nobel Prize winner – Wislawa Szymborska. Each participant had to bring his/her favorite cup or a jug and tell the story about it.

A few days earlier we distributed handmade invitations to our friends and teachers:

We prepared “Szymborska’s Corner”, where we put her volumes of poetry and the cups of our guests.

At first we presented a presentation about Wislawa Szymborska and her writing. The most interesting were her photos.

Next, each of the participants of our meeting read some selected poems and told the history of his/her cup. Some of them were nostalgic and some were funny. One of our friends, Wojtek, won a book as a prize for the best story.

Our English teacher, who visited us, brought his guitar, so there were songs too. There were sweets and hot tea in beautiful cups.

It was a very successful afternoon and we can’t wait for the next one, which will be in October.

Place the puzzle! :-)
